Whistling Wings Solar Project | New Lisbon, Wisconsin

The Whistling Wings solar project is located in New Lisbon, Wisconsin and became operational on June 14, 2017. It is a 1,863 kW DC (1,504 kW AC) project that sits on 13.6 acres of land. It’s part of a portfolio of ground mount solar projects that were developed along with Dairyland Power Cooperative — learn more here.

ENGIE US Solar uses vegetation plantings as a standard element in ground mount designs for distributed solar arrays, including seed mixes of grasses and flowering forbs that would naturally grow in the area.
