An Update to our Customers, Partners, Suppliers, Collaborators and Host Communities from ENGIE Distributed Solar

Together, we all understand that the global COVID-19 pandemic has affected our personal and professional lives drastically. As the world moves into an unprecedented time our top priority at ENGIE is the health and safety of all of our employees, customers, and communities. We know this is an evolving situation and we want to take the time to share with you the various measures our teams are taking to keep employees, customers and our partners safe and healthy and to maintain vital business continuity during this time.

Like most of you, our teams are all working from home except those associated with direct critical operations. While we are working more remotely, our business operations continue, and we are focused on meeting the needs of our clients, partners and suppliers across all our activities.

Within ENGIE North America, we are continuing to carefully track developments and are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), our local and state health departments and the federal government so we can make assessments and provide information and guidance as the situation develops. As you are aware, things are changing on a regular basis, so our situation and approach will remain dynamic.

We have instituted policies and procedures to support Business Continuity during this pandemic. Our current precautions include:

  • A COVID-19 Awareness Campaign for all employees — We strongly encourage everyone inside ENGIE and outside to follow the guidance of the CDC and local officials
  • Limiting all but the most essential travel
  • Securing the operational reliability of our most critical infrastructure and plants to continue to provide 24/7 service
  • For projects currently under construction we are continuing to move forward (within the context of Federal, State and local guidance), albeit with heightened attention paid to employee proximity, health monitoring, sanitizing, and other measures to prevent the spread of infection and ensure we remain compliant with all directives.

Wherever possible, we encourage electronic means of communication rather than mail / courier services at this time. The latest updates will be available here at engieussolar.com on a regular basis.

Our team will continue to monitor the situation closely and make any updates as necessary. I know we all share a common purpose to manage through this pandemic with the utmost care and look forward to the opportunities and more positive days the future holds.
